Happy Memories

Uncle Richard and Aunty Margaret, have been good friends of my parents for as long as I can remember, and with me coming 40 this year, that's a long time. I have so many fond memories of being with them and their children, Chris, Ellie and Zoe, over the years. Holidays, BBQ's, parties, Christmas Eve's spent together, and lots of happy times at our house or at theirs in Rookery Lane and Corfton Drive. As I got older, we tended to see less of each other, particularly with my various moves around the country and more recently abroad, but whenever I visited home we generally managed to catch up, however briefly, and exchanged lovely cards over the years. Uncle Richard and Aunty Margaret came to our wedding in 2003, where Uncle Richard used his excellent photography skills to take some great shots, which he then compiled into a DVD with music. Our children love to watch this now, and as we had decided not to have a wedding video, we will cherish this forever and remember Uncle Richard each time we watch it. Uncle Richard was a sincere man, who was generous with his time and friendship and he will be truly missed. I am sorry that I won't be able to attend the funeral, but will be thinking of him, and Aunty Margaret and family, with much love. Michelle & family xxx
